Out of loyalty to the Empire, in excess of 500 men with connections to Grey County made the supreme sacrifice as a consequence of serving in The Great War (1914-1918).

Who were they? Have they been forgotten?

Winfield Publishing is seeking biographical material, including: family histories, newspaper clippings, photographs, stories, correspondence, etc.

Where were these men born?
Where did they attend school?
Have they been memorialized? Did they marry and have children?
Who were their parents and siblings?
To what church did they belong?
